OUR MISSION
Peace Ambassadors Poland focuses on promoting a culture of peace and nonviolent conflict transformation. Our educational projects address topics such as trauma awareness, social polarization, critical thinking, nonviolent communication, mediation, and body positivity. Through its activities, PA Poland contributes to building inclusive, tolerant, and safe communities.
PA Poland operates within the international informal network called the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network, bringing together over 100 trainers and mediators from 32 countries.The network's aim is to promote the values of civil society such as nonviolence and countering social exclusion.

Weronika
Weronika Knowska is the President of Peace Ambassadors Poland, former President of the Polish Forum of Young Diplomat and a Partnership Coordinator of Youth Peace Ambassadors Network.
In the course of her professional career, she gained experience in the field of crisis management, peacebuilding and human rights when organizing events and coordinating projects, both national and international. On behalf of PFYD she coordinated such projects as: NATO Youth Delegate of Poland programme, Poland Connect Us campaign, Polish-wide Week of Diplomacy, Bielweek or Trilateral Youth Forum 2021.
She participates in various projects, including Youth Meetings Movement where she organized workshops aimed at combating polarization in Poland. She is an experienced non-formal education instructor with specialization in media literacy and managing diversity.
Currently she is implementing non-formal education actions at the Solidarity Now Blue Refugee Center in Thessaloniki, Greece. She is passionate about working with people and enthusiastically implements projects involving civil society.

Julia
Julia is a specialist in cultural diversity, migration processes and its legal aspects. Her academic research analysed the issues of cultural conflicts and its nature within feminism.
She has cooperated as a facilitator for the Council of Europe and conducted a number of Non Violent Communication and Peace education workshops both in Poland and abroad. She has worked as a teacher and currently serves as global education advisor for a Polish humanitarian aid NGO.
Due to her experience in the education and youth sector she has a deep understanding of youth needs and training methods in the spirit of non formal education. She has served as a teacher and has worked as equality, social participation and activism advisor for one of Polish political parties. Julia is one of the organisation's educators on Non violent communication and peace concepts.

Sarian
Fieldwork researcher and human rights specialist with over eight years of experience in qualitative research, currently a human rights investigator in Amnesty International Poland, focused on the issues of LGBTI rights, criminalization of solidarity and migration with emphasis on Polish borders with Belarus and Ukraine. Co-worked on the digital reconstructions of pushbacks at the Polish-Belarussian border.

Maciej
Documentary director who has been covering the situation of the 2015 refugee crisis in Greece, on the Balkan Route and in refugee camps in Germany. His master thesis analyzed documentary movies through the lens of postcolonial theories.
In 2018 he went through a one year program for Global Education Trainers (GLEN) and completed internships in Yamu and Somero in Kampala, Uganda. After the program he cooperated with Polish Humanitarian Action as a trainer and created an online educational campaign on topics connected with colonialism, stereotypes and narratives.
He is a trainer and facilitator in YPAN and PA Poland. He works mostly with artists in topics of Human Rights, activism and artivism. He cooperated with multiple international organizations i.e. CoE as a facilitator and trainer.

Journalist and writer, member of the board of Peace Ambassadors Poland. In his editorial work, he focuses on social problems and the impact of new technologies on our life. He is a graduate of Artes Liberales at the University of Warsaw.
